**Marine layer effects and coastal cooling are anchoring trader sentiment around the 76-77°F band for Los Angeles’s official high on September 19, 2026.** Forecasts from the National Weather Service and models for Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX), the likely resolution station, point to a daily maximum near 76–80°F under partly cloudy skies with morning fog and southwest winds, consistent with the long-term September 19 average high of 76.1°F. This positioning favors the 76-77°F outcome (69% implied probability) over warmer bins, as persistent onshore flow limits inland heating compared to valley or downtown areas. Recent climatological data and current model consensus reinforce the narrow range, though late-day clearing could push readings toward the upper 70s before resolution.
