Recent official forecasts from sources including the ECMWF and GFS models indicate a high of 32–34 °C for Milan on September 6 under mostly sunny conditions with light easterly winds and minimal precipitation risk, supporting the market's clustering around 31–33 °C. A gradual cooling trend from the 34 °C peaks recorded on September 4–5, combined with increasing low-level moisture and possible afternoon cloud build-up, is positioning 32 °C as the consensus outcome while leaving room for 31 °C if boundary-layer mixing is limited. Historical September averages near 22 °C provide context for the current anomalous warmth driven by persistent high pressure. Traders will monitor updated ensemble runs and official station data from the Italian Meteorological Service ahead of the Sunday resolution window.
