Recent forecasts from multiple models place Qingdao's September 13 high temperature near 26–29 °C, driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 26–28 °C. Persistent cloud cover, moderate southwesterly winds, and elevated humidity are limiting daytime heating along the Yellow Sea coast, while a weak high-pressure ridge supports modest warming relative to the 25–26 °C seasonal average. Disagreements among global and regional models on exact cloud timing and sea-breeze strength create the observed spread in probabilities, with traders weighting the most recent ensemble runs. Updated guidance from Chinese and international agencies over the next 48 hours will likely refine these ranges ahead of market resolution.
