This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 2 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Miami Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Observed peak temperatures at Miami International Airport (KMIA) hit 82°F around 2:36 PM EDT, per National Weather Service METAR data and hourly observations, driving near-unanimous trader consensus on the 82-83°F outcome with 100% implied probability. This aligns with the climatological normal high of 82°F for early April, reinforced by recent NWS forecast models predicting 78-82°F amid brisk east-northeast winds (10-15 kt) and scattered coastal showers that capped daytime heating. Ensemble guidance from NOAA showed minimal potential for further intensification post-peak. Realistic challenges include a rare late-afternoon heat burst if skies fully clear before sunset at 7:38 PM EDT, though cooling trends and marine influence make this improbable; final resolution awaits Wunderground's daily history confirmation.
