Incumbent Republican Eli Crane holds a clear edge in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District due to the seat’s established Republican lean, his 2024 reelection margin of roughly nine points, and consistent polling leads of six to eleven points in recent surveys. The rural district, encompassing Prescott, Flagstaff, and significant portions of the Navajo Nation, has favored Republican candidates in recent cycles. Crane’s substantial fundraising lead and $2.1 million advertising reservation provide additional structural advantages heading into the November 3 general election. Jonathan Nez, the former Navajo Nation president and 2024 nominee, remains competitive by targeting cost-of-living concerns and rural infrastructure needs while drawing strength among Native American voters, though the district’s partisan composition and Crane’s incumbency have kept trader consensus probabilities favoring the Republican.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
