Official National Weather Service observations recorded a minimum temperature of 55°F in Denver on September 9, 2026, under clear skies with light winds and no precipitation. This value sits just 2°F above the 1991–2020 normal of 53°F and aligns closely with the market’s dominant 56–57°F range. Recent model guidance and surface analyses showed stable high pressure suppressing overnight cooling, keeping temperatures from dropping into the lower 50s or below. Traders weighted the strong consensus from NWS station data and nearby mesonet reports, which showed minimal spatial variation across the Denver area. Resolution hinges on the final certified climatological summary; any post-processing revision or station-specific adjustment could shift the exact bucket, though such changes are uncommon for this well-monitored site.
