Recent forecasts from the Met Office and numerical models such as GFS indicate a maximum temperature of 18–19 °C in Amsterdam on September 9, 2026, under persistent westerly flow, widespread cloud cover, and periods of rain that limit diurnal heating. These conditions align with the market’s heaviest weighting on 18 °C (47 %) and 19 °C (33.5 %), as the implied probabilities reflect trader consensus around the consensus forecast range rather than the long-term September 9 average high near 20 °C. Ongoing showers and moderate wind speeds near 15–17 mph further cap potential peaks, while any late-day clearing could support the upper end of the distribution. Updated model runs and official agency briefings through the afternoon will provide the final observational data used for market resolution.
