The Rosemont riding remains a tight contest in the October 5, 2026 Quebec general election, with trader consensus reflecting a close race between Parti Québécois candidate Pierre-Luc Brillant and Québec solidaire nominee Gisèle Pouhe Njall amid lower implied probabilities for Liberal David Lavoie, CAQ’s Nour Aliyah Attié, Conservative Mildred Mathieu, and others. The district’s progressive electorate, previously represented by an independent former QS MNA, splits support between the two leading parties, while broader provincial polling shows PQ strength offset by QS local organization and issue focus on health care and housing. Recent candidate announcements and the early campaign launch have not yet produced decisive shifts. Further separation could emerge from local debates, turnout patterns among progressive voters, or provincial momentum for party leaders before nominations close on September 17.
