Recent numerical weather model consensus from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and supporting European forecasts points to a daytime high near 17°C in Helsinki on September 11, driven by northwest winds and partly cloudy skies that permit moderate solar heating without strong advection of warmer air. This aligns closely with the long-term average high of 16.2°C for the date while falling short of late-summer warmth seen in prior years. Stable model outputs over the past 48 hours, with minimal spread among runs, have reinforced trader confidence in the 17°C outcome at 68% implied probability, while the modest probabilities assigned to 16°C and 18°C reflect typical forecast uncertainty ranges of 1–2°C in mid-September conditions.
