Current National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance indicate a high near 91°F in Atlanta on September 15 under mostly sunny skies with easterly winds of 10-15 mph, aligning closely with the 64.5% market-implied probability for 90-91°F. Recent days have featured highs in the mid-90s amid a warm pattern, but a modest cooldown is expected as high pressure builds and onshore flow moderates temperatures. Historical averages for the date sit around 84°F, yet 2026 conditions have trended warmer; traders appear to weight the tight consensus across NWS, GFS, and private models heavily while assigning low odds to outliers above 93°F or below 89°F absent any incoming frontal systems or model shifts.
