Platforma Republicana “Nô Kumpu Guiné” leads trader consensus in the Guinea-Bissau legislative election market due to its status as a broad coalition suited to the proportional representation system across multi-member districts amid the post-2025 transition. The November 2025 general election results were annulled after a coup, leading to a military-backed transitional government under President Horta Inta-A Na Man and ongoing political tensions. A recent constitutional referendum, approved by roughly 70 percent in late August 2026, expands presidential powers, reduces National People's Assembly seats from 102 to 65, and narrows constituencies, reinforcing institutional positioning for aligned coalitions. Trailing parties including FREPASNA, PT, FLING, MUNDO-GB, and PS face constraints from limited regional backing and pressure from ECOWAS and the African Union for credible, inclusive polls ahead of the scheduled December contest. No major recent polling shifts have altered this distribution.
