Current short-range forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 11–12 will likely settle in the low 70s amid scattered thunderstorms, elevated humidity, and limited radiational cooling under cloudy skies. This setup creates uncertainty around exact minimums, as storm timing, cloud persistence, and boundary-layer moisture can shift readings by several degrees. Historical September averages near 67°F contrast with the warmer pattern, while the near-even market split between sub-66°F and 84°F-plus outcomes reflects trader focus on model spread and potential for either stronger cooling or persistent warmth. Updated NHC and local guidance ahead of the date will likely drive the next shifts in implied probabilities.
