Republican Keith Faber holds a commanding position in the 2026 Ohio Attorney General race, reflecting Ohio's consistent Republican advantage in statewide contests and his record as state auditor. He advanced unopposed through the May primary after term limits ended Dave Yost's tenure, with Andy Wilson serving as interim appointee. Democratic nominee John Kulewicz, an Upper Arlington council member and retired attorney, won his primary but faces structural headwinds including lower name recognition and fundraising gaps. Recent developments, such as Kulewicz's ethics complaint regarding JobsOhio transparency, have not materially altered the competitive landscape. Trader consensus prices the Republican nominee as the clear frontrunner ahead of the November general election, with limited polling available to date.
