This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 3 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Singapore’s Meteorological Service (MSS) and multiple forecast models point to a daily maximum near 33°C on September 3 under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions.** Dry, fair weather with southeasterly to southwesterly winds and limited cloud cover is expected to allow strong daytime heating, consistent with the official fortnightly outlook issued September 1 that projects maxima of 33–35°C on most days during the first half of the month. Recent model runs (GFS, ECMWF, and local guidance) cluster afternoon peaks at 32–33°C, with heat indices elevated by humidity but little precipitation to moderate temperatures. Historical September averages at Changi station show a mean daily maximum of about 31.6°C, with the upper tail of the distribution occasionally reaching 34°C under similar dry monsoon regimes. The market’s heavy weighting toward 33°C (61.5%) and secondary support at 32°C (27.5%) reflects this consensus, while the low odds on 34°C+ capture the modest upside risk if clearer skies or slightly stronger insolation develop. No significant model shifts or tropical disturbances are indicated in the latest guidance that would push the outcome outside the narrow 32–34°C band.
