In the Lévis riding for Quebec’s October 5, 2026, general election, trader consensus reflects a close contest primarily between incumbent Bernard Drainville of the Coalition avenir Québec and Karine Laflamme of the Parti conservateur du Québec, with other candidates such as Yanick Godbout (PQ), Brittany Blais (PLQ), and Simon Beauchamp-Léveillé (QS) trailing. The tightness stems from provincial polling trends showing the CAQ’s support eroding in the Quebec City region while the PCQ gains ground on issues like infrastructure and fiscal policy, building on Laflamme’s 2022 performance in the riding. Local factors including the stalled third-link bridge project, economic development pressures, and housing concerns have kept the race competitive despite Drainville’s incumbency and ministerial record. Recent campaign developments, such as the writ drop in late August and ongoing regional polling, reinforce this balance, with further shifts possible from candidate debates, turnout patterns among francophone voters, or targeted announcements on regional priorities before nomination deadlines close.
