Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Trader consensus centers on 64–67°F minimums in Central Park as the primary driver, reflecting the latest NWS and ensemble model runs that show a cooler air mass advecting into the region with light westerly winds and partly cloudy skies overnight into August 25. These conditions favor radiative cooling while the urban heat island and typical August dew points limit further drops, consistent with recent below-normal lows in the mid-60s after warmer mid-August readings. Model spread arises mainly from variable cloud cover and exact wind timing, which can shift the minimum by 2–3°F. NOAA and NWS updates through the evening of August 24 will refine the outlook ahead of official resolution based on verified observations.
