Incumbent DMK alliance holds a commanding trader consensus at 80.5% implied probability to win the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, driven by multiple pre-poll surveys in early April projecting 160-178 seats for the bloc on 40-43% vote share, bolstered by finalized seat-sharing deals allocating DMK around 175 constituencies and strong welfare scheme delivery under Chief Minister MK Stalin. AIADMK trails at 15.3% amid internal divisions and ambitious manifesto promises like free refrigerators, while actor Vijay's debut TVK garners 4.5% on 17-19% youth vote share but struggles in first-past-the-post dynamics. With single-phase polling set for April 23 and results May 4, recent campaigning focuses on caste arithmetic and anti-incumbency, though no major shifts in the past week.
