The open Florida 22nd congressional district, redrawn in 2026 to include portions of western Broward and Palm Beach counties stretching to Collier County on the Gulf Coast, carries an R+4 partisan voting index and has received Lean Republican ratings from Cook Political Report, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, and other forecasters. The seat became vacant after Democratic Rep. Lois Frankel shifted districts following the map changes. Republican Casey Askar, a businessman and former Marine, secured the nomination in an August 18 crowded primary with roughly 31% of the vote, while Democrat Pia Dandiya, a technology executive and education policy advocate, won her primary decisively at 69%. A late primary-period survey showed the nominees tied, yet the district’s overall lean and recent redistricting effects underpin trader positioning favoring the Republican nominee ahead of the November 3 general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
