Sunny periods and a southerly airstream have delivered warm moist air with minimal cloud cover, enabling strong solar heating despite the April climatological average high of around 27°C; regional stations reported peaks up to 29.7°C. This skin-in-the-game positioning reflects official data over forecast ranges of 25–29°C, which observations have exceeded. With the daily peak typically occurring mid-afternoon and no cooling trends evident, only an unprecedented measurement revision could challenge resolution to this outcome, though such events are exceedingly rare. Final HKO records expected by evening.
