Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Hong Kong Observatory observations as of 9:20 p.m. local time on April 11 confirm the maximum air temperature since midnight at the official station reached 27.6°C, with current readings at 26.6°C amid 83% relative humidity and ongoing diurnal cooling under clear skies. This data drives the 99.7% market-implied probability for 27°C as the daily high, aligning with the seasonal forecast of normal to above-normal temperatures for April-June 2026 and historical precedents of 26–28°C peaks in early spring. Stable high-pressure conditions and light winds limited further intensification, per model consensus. Realistic challenges include a measurement revision or anomalous late-afternoon heat burst pushing select stations to 28°C, though evening trends make this improbable; final HKO daily maximum report expected soon.
