Incumbent Democrat Brendan Boyle holds a commanding lead in the PA-02 House race due to the district's entrenched Democratic lean, reflected in its D+19 Partisan Voter Index and consistent solid or safe Democratic ratings from forecasters. Boyle, serving since 2015 with strong name recognition and fundraising advantages, advanced unopposed through the May 2026 Democratic primary against Republican Jessica Arriaga, who also faced no primary opposition but shows limited campaign resources. Trader consensus at 94.5% for the Democratic Party aligns with historical voting patterns and the absence of competitive polling shifts. Late-breaking developments such as health events affecting the incumbent, significant scandals, or an unprecedented national partisan wave could still narrow the margin before the November 3, 2026 general election.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
