Updated this morning (April 16), Met Office hourly models show afternoon peaks of 18°C from 3-5 p.m. under reduced cloud cover and moderate solar heating, while the overall daily maximum is conservatively listed at 17°C, acknowledging potential for lingering early showers (30% chance pre-dawn) or increased boundary layer mixing to cap temperatures. This above-average mildness (April climatological high ~14°C) stems from a transitioning high-pressure ridge southeast, fostering drier conditions after today's light rain; final resolution hinges on Heathrow-area observations during peak insolation hours.
