In Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Québec solidaire incumbent Alexandre Leduc faces a tight contest against Parti Québécois challenger Maude Brossard-Sabourin ahead of the October 5, 2026, provincial vote. The riding’s left-leaning Montreal demographics and history of strong QS support create a base-rate advantage for the incumbent, yet recent 338Canada projections show PQ vote share rising to the low 30s while QS holds near 40 percent, reflecting broader provincial momentum for the PQ. Candidate announcements, including Brossard-Sabourin’s May 2026 nomination and emphasis on local inequalities and social economy, have kept the race competitive. With no decisive late-campaign events or riding-specific polling shifts, trader consensus prices the outcome near even odds, leaving room for separation from turnout patterns or final-week developments in this multi-candidate field.
