This setup favors above-normal warmth—historical April 17 normals hover near 84°F at Miami International Airport—boosted by sea surface temperatures around 80°F and minimal cloud interference for peak insolation around 2 PM. Differentiating factors include ensemble model spread, with GFS leaning slightly warmer (84-86°F) versus ECMWF cooler (82-84°F), plus urban heat effects and exact station measurements; daily updates from NOAA could refine this narrow range before resolution.
