Incumbent Republican Mike Rogers, a long-serving representative and chair of the House Armed Services Committee, faces Democrat Lee McInnis in Alabama’s 3rd congressional district for the November 2026 general election. The solidly Republican district, centered around areas like Auburn, Anniston, and Gadsden, has consistently delivered large GOP margins, including a roughly 47-point Trump victory in the 2024 presidential contest. Rogers secured his primary nomination comfortably with substantial fundraising and institutional support, while McInnis advanced unopposed on the Democratic side. Cook Political Report rates the seat Solid Republican. Trader consensus reflected in the current odds aligns with the district’s partisan voting index and historical results. A major scandal, health event affecting the incumbent, or an unprecedented national Democratic surge would be required to alter the outcome in the remaining months.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
