The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Benito Juárez International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/mx/mexico-city/MMMX. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Consensus forecasts from the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) and global models like ECMWF and GFS project Mexico City's highest temperature on April 13 reaching 25-27°C under partly cloudy skies and light easterly winds, anchoring the 79% trader consensus for 25°C or higher. This reflects April's climatological norms—average highs of 26°C amid the dry season's intense solar insolation at 2,240-meter elevation—bolstered by a persistent high-pressure ridge suppressing clouds. Recent days logged similar highs of 25-28°C with minimal rainfall, shifting odds upward from earlier uncertainty. While 20% implies 24°C as a plausible cap from stray high clouds, resolution hinges on official Benito Juárez Airport (MMMX) observations; monitor SMN's midday update for late-model refinements amid inherent short-term forecast variability.
