The Meteorological Service Singapore's fortnightly outlook supports daily highs of 33–35°C for early April despite wetter patterns, but historical April climatology at Changi Airport—the likely resolution station—averages around 31°C, with showers often capping peaks below 33°C via reduced solar heating. Key differentiators include shower onset timing and spatial coverage; early widespread rain favors 31°C, while patchy delays enable 32°C. Updated hourly forecasts expected later today could shift consensus.
