Fine, sunny conditions with light winds and moderate humidity—forecast by HKO's morning update—enabled daytime highs in the 26–30°C range, culminating in a confirmed maximum of 28°C at the Observatory station, consistent with 9 a.m.-to-9 a.m. measurements. This aligns with 2026's abnormally warm patterns, following HKO's seasonal outlook for above-normal temperatures amid persistent subtropical high influence. Realistic challenges are minimal post-event, limited to rare data revisions from quality checks or auxiliary station discrepancies, though HKO readings define market resolution.
